2017 Christmas/Advent Events at WBC

Sunday, November 26

4:00 pm - Sanctuary
Service of Consolation

We know that the holidays season that is approaching will most likely be a difficult time for many. This may be the first or second Thanksgiving and Christmas without a loved one, if not the tenth or more and it is still difficult. It may be that you and your family have endured losses due to Hurricane Harvey and you are still slowly recovering and cannot celebrate the holidays in your home yet; or even if you can, you are still in some kind of “makeshift” situation and can’t celebrate the season in your usual way.

If you find yourself dreading this approaching season OR simply not “feeling it” this year for whatever reason, then we invite you to this special time of worship and prayer and fellowship designed for you and others like yourself who are going through similar struggles.

We invite you to come to this special service at 4 o’clock on Sunday, November 26 (Sunday following Thanksgiving). It will conclude at 5:00.

All Creation Sings: A Night of Wonder

Westbury Children's Choirs present this Christmas drama. The drama shares a fanciful view of what the animals in the stable could have seen and heard on that holy night when Jesus was born.  The pajama-clad animals (and a few children with vivid imaginations) will share the story in word and song. Everyone is sure to enjoy this Christmas pageant, whether you know any of the children or not.  Come and celebrate this night of wonder with the children.
